Purchased a new unit 6 years ago registered what I thought was the entire unit, found out the inside and the outside units have to be registered separately and they won't cover my inside unit which is down even though I registered my unit when purchased. Spent 3 days trying to resolve only to be told they wouldn't honor my original purchase registration because my inside serial number wasn't registered. My only options is to complain to the BBB. Complete lack of regard for the customer or understanding of the situation. Horrid follow through to customer satisfaction!

the equipment is great! I know a lot of friends that have HEIL and no problems. you will have problems if you don't have a good installation.
