Laundry detergent and fabric softener vending machines are available. In addition, there are about a half dozen chairs for patrons to sit in while they wait--fewer than in Mid-Town laundry. Some patrons had to stand while waiting for their clothes to finish. There is a soda and snack vending machine, as well. There are a couple of tables on which to fold clothes and carts available for use if needed. If change is needed for the washers or dryers, a change machine can accept any denomination bill from $1-$20. This location does not accept credit cards. Finally, if a restroom is available, it is not marked.

I don't recommend ANYONE to ever use the "Big washtub Laundry Matt on nashville hwy" literally spent 40 mins and quiet a bit of money on their dryers, when my clothes were done, they were still wet.. Not only that you have to be careful what machine you use because you never know which one is gonna take your money.. we will never use that trash place again.. either upgrade or shut down! That's ridicolous..Also the place is always trashy and disgusting
There is an assortment of washer sizes, but only one size dryer is available. Many pieces of equipment were broken and some appeared to have been broken for quite some time, judging by the amount of dried soap encrusted to the insides. Also, the broken machines are not clearly marked, so I had made the same mistake as several other people seemed to have made--I loaded my clothes into the washer, loaded the soap, and then realized there was a piece of tape over the coin slot--the only indication that the unit is out of service. I then tried to find another washer, only to discover that so many were out of service.

18 pound (residential-size) front-load washer: cold $2.25, warm $2.50, hot $2.75. There are 5 washers this size. Standard cycle takes fewer than 25 minutes.
All dryers are 30 pound dryers. The price is 25¢ per 4-minutes of time, with a minimum of 50¢ to start the machine. If you stop the machine before time expires, you can add 4 more minutes for another 25¢, but do note that the timer keeps running even if the dryer is stopped and the door is open. There are 20 dryers total, but one is broken. They are very finicky about accepting quarters--more than half of the quarters I inserted were rejected, so you might want to bring many extra quarters.
20 pound (residential-size) top-load washer: $2.25 for any water temperature. There are 8 washers this size. The wash takes about 30 minutes.
Big Wash Tub Coin Laundry is a laundromat located at 1129 Nashville Hwy, Lewisburg, TN 37091. I visited it in May of 2016. Since we have only two laundromats in town, I thought I would compare the two myself. I was most interested in knowing if there was a difference in price between the two laundromats. I have detailed information about what this location offers and its prices.
Additional wash and rinse cycles are not available on these machines, a contrast to Mid-Town Laundry.
Overall, this laundromat was not as clean as Mid-Town Laundry, the other laundromat in town. It was by no means dirty, but it appeared as though the floors are not mopped well very often. The floors had a film of laundry detergent and hair around baseboards and in front of the washers and dryers. This means that if you drop clean, newly washed clothes, the hair and soap is likely to stick to the clothes.
