Most of the livestock here is sickly, overpriced cull animals. The body condition of the goats are often dreadful and the cows are misrepresented. Buyer be ware and don't believe a thing the auctioneer says about the breed, the pregnancy status, or the health. The quality of the stock in the columbia auctions is far superior. We actually went to a breeder to pick up some goats, in lewisburg, after the auction one weekend and told them we didn't see what we were looking for there and they told us "yeah, they won't likley ever have what you are looking for if you want healthy animals! Wow!

I would not recommend buying any animals at this auction, they come with sickness. Just bought two goats they both died, never again!
